$1 per point per lot (CFD default — edit to match your broker).
How a US30 lot works
US30 is quoted in Dow points. Most CFD brokers pay $1 per point per 1 lot, with some at $10 or $0.10 — the calculator starts at $1 and you can change it to match your broker.
On futures the E-mini Dow (YM) is $5 per point per contract and the Micro (MYM) is $0.50 per point.
The Dow's point moves are the largest of the US indices — a 300–600 point day is normal — so US30 stops are wider in points than NAS100's and the lot size is smaller for the same risk.

Frequently asked questions
How much is 1 point on US30 worth?
Usually $1 per point per 1 lot on a CFD account, but check your broker's spec — some use $10 or $0.10. On futures, YM is $5 a point and MYM is $0.50 a point.
What lot size should I use for US30 on a $10,000 account?
At 1% risk ($100) with a 60-point stop at $1 a point: 100 ÷ (60 × 1) ≈ 1.67 lots.
Why is my US30 position so small compared with forex?
Because the stop is in Dow points, and a sensible Dow stop is dozens of points. The dollar risk is what stays the same, not the lot size.
