At a glance
The short version
Real trading rarely looks at one chart. You check the index against its sibling, gold against the dollar, the euro against the pound. Most replay tools give you one chart, or two that drift apart the moment you scroll. CRTLAB's second chart is a mirror: whatever you do on your chart — zoom, scroll, change timeframe, play — it does too, on the same candle, at the same moment.
What "synced" means here
Same timeframe, same candle width, same number of candles to the right edge, same current replay candle. When you scroll, it scrolls on the same frame; when replay advances, both forming candles build together; when you switch from 15-minute to 1-hour, the second chart lands on the same moment without sliding in after.
Hover a candle on your chart and the matching candle on the second is boxed, with an arrow on the swing — the fastest way to compare two highs that were made at the same time.
Drag the divider to size the two; the split is remembered. The second chart can show another market, or a volume footprint of yours.
Pairs worth replaying together
NAS100 and SP500 for SMT divergence at the New York open. EURUSD and GBPUSD for dollar strength across London. Gold and silver for metals that usually agree and occasionally do not. Bitcoin and Ethereum for crypto leadership. Any of the 38 markets can sit beside any other.
Frequently asked questions
Is the second chart free?
CRTLAB is free to try. You get the synced second chart on every market, with every tool the product has, for your first 10,000 candles of replay — roughly two hours of stepping through a chart, no card needed. After the sample, unlimited replay is $14.99 a month, cancel any time.
Does the second chart lag behind?
No. It mirrors your chart's view on the same frame — zoom, scroll, timeframe and replay — so the two never drift apart.
Does it work on mobile?
The second chart is a desktop feature; on a phone the main chart works as normal.
