The short version
Klein Funding runs 4 evaluation programs for forex and CFD traders. The headline one, Cleo One Step, asks for a 10% profit target with a 6% static max loss and a 3% daily loss limit. This page puts every Klein Funding rule set in one table, runs each through thousands of simulated challenges to show what the rules alone do to your odds, and opens a chart that enforces them candle by candle — so you can rehearse the Klein Funding challenge on real historical data before you pay for one.
Klein Funding challenge rules, program by program
Rules as published on kleinfunding.com, checked 21 October 2026. Prop firms revise rules often — confirm on their site before you buy; the source for each program is in the fine print below. Account sizes offered: $5k, $10k, $25k, $50k, $100k, $200k.
What the Klein Funding rules do to your odds
The same trader passes one firm's challenge far more often than another's, and the difference is the rules, not the trader. To isolate it, each program below was run through the CRTLAB challenge simulator for three traders: a break-even one (50% wins at 1:1 — zero edge, so any pass is the rules' slack plus luck), a small edge (45% at 1:1.5) and a solid edge (45% at 1:2).
Of Klein Funding's 4 programs, Bybit One Step leaves a break-even trader the most room (49.1% pass) and Cleo Flex the least (7.4%).
| Program | Break-even trader | Small edge | Solid edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cleo One Step | 31.7% | 66.8% | 87.2% |
| Cleo Flex | 7.4% | 15.6% | 29.5% |
| Bybit One Step | 49.1% | 73.2% | 88.2% |
| Bybit Two Step | 32.5% | 59.1% | 80.4% |
Simulated: $100k account, 1% risk per trade, 2 trades a day, 60 trading days or the program's own limit; multi-phase programs multiply each phase's pass rate. Min-day and consistency rules are not simulated. Run your own numbers in the prop firm challenge calculator.
The rule most likely to end a Klein Funding attempt
On Cleo One Step the target (10%) is 1.7× the room you have to lose (6%). That gap is the whole difficulty: a trader has to make 1.7 units for every unit they can afford to give back, so a cold streak early in the phase ends more attempts than a lack of edge does.
The max loss is static, measured from the starting balance — the most forgiving kind. Profit you bank widens your room rather than dragging the floor up behind you.
There is a 3% daily loss limit. With only 6% in total, two bad days are the whole account.
In simulation, a trader with a small edge (45% wins at 1:1.5, 1% risk) fails 30.8% of phase-one attempts on the max loss; the ones who pass take a median of 18 trading days.
Rehearse the Klein Funding challenge on a real chart
The button opens CRTLAB with prop firm mode running on Klein Funding's Cleo One Step rules. The chart's HUD carries your progress to target, the distance to the max loss and the daily floor, and it calls the verdict — passed, phase two, or breached — the moment a rule is hit, exactly as the firm's dashboard would. Every Klein Funding program and account size is one click away in the rules panel, and so are the other 98 firms in the catalogue.
What makes it a rehearsal rather than a demo account: you replay real historical data, candle by candle, on any of 38 markets from 1-minute to weekly, and you can do in an evening what a live challenge takes a month to show you. Run the same week three times with three different risk sizes and watch which one the static floor catches.
There is no account to fund and no time limit on practice — the replay waits for you. When your rehearsals pass consistently, you know the edge survives Klein Funding's rules before the fee is spent.
