Discord Bot Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This policy covers the CRTLAB Discord application. It is separate from the CRTLAB website privacy policy.
1. Summary
The bot stores no data, reads no messages, and has no database. It responds to two slash commands with trading session times calculated at the moment you run them, and keeps nothing afterwards.
2. What the bot does
The bot provides two slash commands. /sessions lists every major trading session and ICT kill zone with a countdown to each. /killzone reports which session is live right now and which is next. Both also report whether the spot forex week is open or closed.
All values are computed from the server's clock and standard time zone data at the instant the command runs. No market data is fetched and no external service is contacted.
3. What we receive, and what we keep
When you run a slash command, Discord sends our endpoint an interaction payload. That payload is used only to identify which of the two commands was invoked, and to sign the response back. It is not logged, not written to any database, and not retained once the response is returned.
- Message content: never received. The bot has no message content intent and cannot read what people post in your server.
- Member lists, roles or profiles: never requested and never stored.
- Server configuration: none stored. The bot keeps no per-server settings, because it has none to keep.
- Analytics or usage tracking: none.
4. Data sharing and sale
Because nothing is retained, there is nothing to share, sell or transfer. No data from the bot reaches any third party, and none is used for advertising or profiling.
5. Permissions
The bot operates through Discord's HTTP interactions endpoint and requires only the ability to respond to its own slash commands. It does not request permission to read message history, manage the server, manage roles, or moderate members.
6. Removing it
Removing the app from your server ends the relationship completely and immediately. Because nothing was stored, there is nothing to delete and no deletion request to make. If you would like written confirmation of that anyway, contact us at the address below.
7. Changes
If a future version ever stores data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to crtlab@proton.me. The CRTLAB terms of service apply to use of the app.
